What and why?
Welcome to Polypartisan.org. The first blog post is quite possibly my best concise explanation of this project, so I recommend reading it. But I’ll run point by point so that if you’re not scared off by the bottom, you’ll know you’re in the right place.
This site is the homepage of a new (as of fall 2008) project aimed at ending the dominance of the two major political parties in America, in the defense of liberty and commonsense government.
The material goal of the project is to elect members of small political parties to the House of Representatives.
The planned methodology for accomplishing this goal involves choosing targeted congressional districts in which to run a candidate from a single designated “third party.”
In each district where this project operates, we will concentrate the resources of a national party on a single small election. This is permissible within the guidelines of the FEC and will allow for fundraising and spending well beyond the typical congressional campaign.
We need a ton of volunteers for all different tasks. I encourage you to click the volunteer link at right to see how you can help.
